We envision a Pakistan where all towns and municipalities have well-supported administrative professionals who coordinate service delivery to all segments of society. TKE is a Canadian charity that provides management consulting to improve organizational capacity and community impact for town managers across Pakistan. We support the recruiting, training, and matching of individuals of highly skilled professional capacity with towns and municipalities in need of leadership.
We are looking for a curious, collaborative, and growth-oriented individual to spend approximately 3-5 hours per week working with our marketing and fundraising team in direct contribution to organizational objectives. Reporting to the Executive Director, the social media manager will gain valuable experience in and is responsible for, the following:
- Develop the plan for spreading awareness and increasing the social media experience for multiple stakeholder groups in Canada and Pakistan.
- Develop and sustain fundraising and crowdfunding campaigns
- Work with teammates (copywriter, graphic designer) to develop engaging posts and campaigns
- Analyze data for arriving at decisions for subsequent campaigns
- Celebrate wins!

- Serve as Lead on content publishing, maintenance, and development of TKE’s website and database.
- Expand the use of the TKEs website to include its database, newsletter, event registration, and other functionalities.
- Responsible for liaising with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders in Pakistan for regular content creation for the website.
- Work with the administrative and events teams as needed to provide support through our website for projects and events.
- In collaboration with the Executive Director, prepare and distribute a quarterly digital newsletter.
- Build and maintain TKE’s database, ensure distribution lists are up to date, data protection and compliance regulations are adhered to, and accessibility measures implemented.
- Manage and implement a wide range of communications projects including websites, print/digital reports, and campaigns.
- In collaboration with program and events teams, develop and deliver external communications plans and strategies.
- Provide surge support across the communications team as needed.
- Contribute to the development of communications strategies and plans.

The Knowledge Executive (TKE), a service organization, is recruiting Town Managers for restoring dysfunctional water supply schemes and municipal services in various towns of Pakistan.
